REbarcamp San Antonio

The REbarcamp event finally made it to San Antonio and I was fortunate enough not only to attend, but construct a video for the “unconference” as well. These real estate conventions are known for their impromptu schedule and unscripted, teacher-less classes. Although there is a facilitator, the content of each educational course is made up by the people attending – therefore everyone learns and has the chance to educate others too. The topics of these classes are chosen by the attendees at the very beginning of the event and are inserted into the daily schedule.

It was a major turn out for the first San Antonio edition of REbarcamp and I personally had a blast. Although I was filming and taking pictures, I was able to take in a lot of information from others and began to shape new ideas and start daring directions I want to take video production. The best part of the event is that no matter what industry you are involved, you can utilize these newly acquired bits and pieces in any fashion you desire.

Occupy Austin

I stopped by the protests during the Occupy Austin campaign – a branch of the much bigger Occupy Wall Street protests in New York where people have been camping out/occupying the streets for weeks.

The protests are based on corporate greed and corporations, primarily banks, having their hands in politics.

The protests attract a number of people who are willing to temporarily live at City Hall.

Sunkist Lemon Video Contest

A month ago, we produced this video to be entered into a video contest for Sunkist – a company that makes and distributes lemons. It turned out exactly how we imagined it: a witty, quick comedy sketch showing the brand’s product positively. Watch it below.
